The Truth Behind Organic Cleaners and What To Do About It.

The Truth Behind Organic Cleaners and What To Do About It.Wanting safe ingredients to clean with in your home shouldn’t be such a big thing to ask. After all, you have the right to know that your children’s skin and lungs are safe as well as your own. But many cleaning companies don’t think that’s very important. They’re bigger goal is to sell more and care less. Well we are looking to put products that you can trust into your home, at a price you can afford and that performs at it’s best.
Green cleaning is defined as the process by which organic products—which are those made with ingredients that are not harmful to humans or the environment—are used to clean the home, office, or other areas.  There has been a recent spike of interest lately in organic living, causing the commitment to “green cleaning” to dramatically increase in popularity. In fact, some experts suggest that up to half of the US population use some form of green cleaning technology on a regular basis.
And it’s no wonder. Why would you choose dangerous and toxic chemicals over safe and natural ones that get the job done just as well and for the same price?
Here’s Why: The benefits associated with green cleaning are numerous and varied. Specifically, green cleaning products have been found not only to be safe for individuals who use them on a daily basis, but also for the environment in which they are often released. In addition, green cleaning products can often be a cost-effective alternative to more expensive, traditional products. Finally, unlike some other products, green cleaning items are often multi-purpose, and can be used for a number of functions around the home or office.
Even More: Just as there are a number of benefits associated with the use of organic cleaning agents, there are several risks linked to those which are not organic. For example, a significant amount of clinical research has found that the use of non-organic chemicals can lead to dramatic increases in the instances of cancer in both men and women in the United States. In addition, the use of these products can also increase the rates of allergic reactions and decrease immunity to these antigens.
Despite popular myth, organic cleaners are actually quite affordable. This is especially true for multi-purpose cleaners, which may serve two functions simultaneously. Organic cleaning products are also even easier to find these days and the choices can remain daunting.
To make it even better, we’ve made it that much simpler by providing an extensive line of organic cleaning supplies made with only the best ingredients. Our featured item - one that has no real competitor - is our organic granite counter top cleaner! With natural conditioning agents, our cleaner will not only clean but restore and protect your beautiful granite counter tops!

Why it's Important to Wash Your Car and How to Keep It Fast and Easy!

Why it's Important to Wash Your Car and How to Keep It Fast and Easy!Oil changes are important, and so are wheel alignments and timing belt replacements. When it comes to the upkeep of your car’s exterior, most people are willing to let those things slide and save a little time and money. While you may be saving time and money now, failing to do regular car washes can really set you up for an expensive trip to a car wash detailer! At Bayes, we understand that you need to be able to wash your car well, efficiently and as a bonus - in an environmentally safe way too!
Car Washes Keep Your Car Healthy
Besides making your car look nice, regular washes and waxes are important to keeping your vehicle’s body healthy. Waxing the car isn’t just for dad when he’s bored on a Sunday. It’s a very important part of the process. Skipping it is like not using toothpaste when you brush, but we’ll get to that in a bit.
Why?
First let’s talk about why those washes are so important. Your car’s body picks up a lot of dust and grime while driving. Anyone who drives a dark car can tell you that. All of that grim slowly chips away at your vehicle’s paint, exposing the sheet metal beneath. Winter is especially rough on your vehicle’s exterior. Though salt is great at melting the ice on the road, those same properties make quick work of your exterior.
And once the sheet metal is exposed, the rust moves in and gets very comfortable. And it’s a greedy, hungry guest. Once it starts eating at your sheet metal, it can be tough, and expensive, to eradicate. Not only is rust unsightly, but it can expose vehicle components to the elements that are not meant to be exposed.
What to do?
Enter Bayes Waterless Wash/Detailer! The steps are simple and the product will work well and fast!

Steps to Using

1. Shake the bottle before using.

2. Light spray on the desired area.

3. Wipe once with a micro fiber towel to get the dirt off.

4. Wipe a second time with the other side of the towel or a new one, to clean, add shine and protect from further dust and UV rays.

5. Stand back and admire your very clean car.

Your once dirty car, now has that new car show room shine.

No water, no runoff, no waste.

All you need to do now is wash the towels and have them ready for next time! Click the video for even more information.

Two MUST HAVES You Need to Keep Your Home Clean and Protected During the Holidays!

It’s the beginning of the cold and rainy season. Family will begin to gather more and visitors will enter your home with wet shoes and clothes and you’re going to have to keep a close eye on your floors and furniture! If not, the water and dirt will make it’s way into the creases and porous spaces, leading to cracking, water damage, buildup and staining.

You don’t need these little nuances creeping in and destroying your home when you’re busy having fun. What you do need is to have a situational and preventative solution that not only cleans your home and furnishings quickly, but also protects it from future damage and soiling.

We at Bayes, have that solution! With our organic cleaning products, you can now clean, protect and lengthen the life of your home furniture without the use of harsh chemicals that are not only damaging to your furniture, but also to your health and the environment. All of our products are highly effective, environmentally responsible and safe for use in the home for the family, pets, plants and leather, microfiber and other multi-surfaces.

One option is The Wine Stomper Red Wine Stain Remover. This one is great for holiday meals and gatherings, as spills do happen and you don’t need them ruining your floor, furniture or table coverings! This Red Wine Stain Remover quickly removes red wine, juice, blood, and other dark stains from clothing, table linen, carpets and upholstery. Packaged in a handy spray bottle for instant use wherever spills occur. Simply spray soiled area, wait a few minutes, and blot clean.

The next product we want to recommend is our Fabric Protectant. Bayes Fabric Protectant is safe to use indoors, yet provides maximum protection under extreme outdoor conditions and contains a special advanced polymer designed to repel both oil and water-borne stains from fabric. This is important in household environments where both water-borne stains (fruit juice, wine, soft drinks) and oil-borne stains (margarine, mayonnaise, ice cream) are present. Commonly used silicone based repellents are effective only against water-borne stains.

At Bayes, we pride ourselves on our commitment to taking care of the environment as well as family health in every home. We hope you get as excited about this as we do. Take a moment now, to see what other wonderful products we have available to pamper your home!

How to Care for Your Granite Counter Tops Without Ruining Them.

How to Care for Your Granite Counter Tops Without Ruining Them.Granite countertops are for the wise quality seekers. You shop around for well
made products that serve you well and are going to last. The last thing you want to do is invest your well earned money into a great product like granite counter tops, and ruin them because you’re using the wrong cleaning products on them.

Standard cleaning products contain harsh and abrasive ingredients, including bleach. Bleach will sometimes say that it’s safe for properly sealed countertops, but that’s debatable. It is acidic and will break down the sealant over time. Also, if there is a break in the seal somewhere, the bleach can make it’s way into the compromised spot and corrode the makings of the granite.

Additionally, using harsh or abrasive chemicals is often a violation to the granite company’s warranty, meaning your mistake could really end up costing you in the end.

How to Care for Your Granite Counter Tops Without Ruining Them.So now it’s clear, don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaners and sponges. Windex, acidic cleaners like vinegar, lemon, lime, or anything with ammonia or bleach. Frequent use of these chemicals will dull and weaken the sealant over time. Basically, the harsher the cleaner, the quicker it will break down the sealant.

Make sure your granite countertop is sealed. While granite is a very hard surface and less porous than marble, unsealed or weakly sealed granite will soak up oils, spills, and stains. To check whether your granite is sealed, leave a few drops of water on the surface. If it beads up, you have a secure seal. If after a few minutes the water has soaked into the granite, then it’s time to reseal the stone.
Wipe up spills as soon as you notice them, preferably with a gentle and soft fibered pad or towel, with warm water and a mild or gentle dish soap.
All that’s needed to keep your counters clean and cared for?

That’s really all!

Granite and natural stone countertops have become the mark of a luxurious modern home but proper care is vital for preserving the original look of your wise investment.

The next important thing to care for is those counters!
