This means, that no matter where you install your granite countertop,  you can be assured of it's one of a kind individuality. However, there are still enough similarities that will allow you to color match easily to any cabinet and hardware.

Durability

It's also ideal as it can handle high temperatures

Easy Care

Does Choosing Organic Cleaning Products Really Make a Difference? Find Out Now!

Does Choosing Organic Cleaning Products Really Make a Difference? Find Out Now!There's a lot of discussion around whether or not people should use chemical or organic ingredients in cleaning. We want to help clear it up for you. We at Bayes, had the same concern years back and did our own research and is why we have chosen to use only organic ingredients in our cleaning products.

We say that choosing to use organic cleaning products DOES in fact, make a difference and here's why:

Organic Cleaning Products Are Safer for Your Health

One of the main benefits of using organic cleaning products is that they are much safer for your health than traditional cleansers. Because these products contain natural ingredients, they do not pose the same health risks and potential for allergic reactions as other common cleaners. Many cleaning products can contribute to cancer, respiratory problems, reproductive abnormalities, allergic reactions, and behavioral problems. However, green cleaning products use ingredients such as isopropyl alcohol, citrus oils, and vinegar, which clean just as well as the ingredients found in other cleansers but without many of the harmful side effects.

Organic Cleaning Products Are Safer for the Environment

In addition to being safer for your health, organic cleaners are also much safer for the environment, as they do not contain the toxic chemicals found in traditional household cleansers. Unlike standard cleaners that can poison the air and water, organic cleaning products have extremely low toxicity, low volatile organic compound (VOC) content, and are extremely biodegradable. These cleansers not only improve indoor air quality by reducing the number of harmful chemicals released into the air, but can also reduce water and outdoor air pollution. In addition, green cleaners are extremely easy to dispose of, since you do not have to follow special instructions to prevent them from harming soil and water supplies.
Our organic cleaning products are an excellent option for homeowners that want to protect both the environment and their health. While such cleaners may require a bit more of an initial investment than standard household cleansers, the benefits you receive by protecting both yourself and your environment ultimately make this worthwhile. Bayes is dedicated to your health and we are happy you've chosen to take steps toward your self care.

5 Simple and Nurturing Ways to Minimize Thanksgiving Stress!

5 Simple and Nurturing Ways to Minimize Thanksgiving Stress! As much as we all love to celebrate with loved ones, what do we do with the stress that comes with hosting or even contributing to a holiday dinner. But the stress can be avoided with careful planning and consideration of everyone's needs, not neglecting your own.  At Bayes, we highly value the health of your home and family, and stress management should definitely not be forgotten.
So here are 5 simple and nurturing ways to minimize Thanksgiving stress:
Create a Game Plan.
Don't wait until the last minute to do your shopping. You run the risk of getting stuck in crowds and not being able to get the items you need. Because you're planning ahead, you'll probably purchase a frozen turkey. Remember that depending upon the weight, a turkey can take up to five days to thaw in the refrigerator. Give yourself and your bird enough time to reduce this possible stressor.
Prepare Your Space Ahead of Time.
When you're cooking a meal to this magnitude, you're going to need extra space in the fridge and on the counters. Take this opportunity to do a little "fall cleaning" and pitch old condiments, leftovers and other items you don't need in the fridge.
Delegate Tasks.
A good head chef knows that a strong team is needed to achieve good service. You're no different. Assign duties to family members you know will want to help. Whether it be bringing a side dish, watching the little ones so they aren't underfoot while you're cooking, or simply setting the table, the list of ways others can bring relief to the day is endless.
Get Enough Sleep.
It might seem counter intuitive, but making sure you get enough sleep can help combat the additional stress you may be under. Don't vary your sleeping schedule. Simply plan around it so your body remains in its natural rhythm. While you may have to get up a bit early on Thanksgiving Day to get the turkey in the oven, if you're well-rested from the previous nights, it won't take as much of a toll on you.
Prioritize
Remember what's important. Take time out to enjoy the day and have some fun. Start a new tradition of playing a game, telling favorite jokes or simply taking a walk together as a family. While the meal may seem like the big part of the day, the most important part is spending time with your loved ones and giving thanks for all you have.
Your emotional and mental health care should be at the top of your list when striving to live consciously and in a naturally healthy way. We are here to support you in the big and little ways we can. This is why we've developed a line of organic cleaning supplies meant to deeply clean, condition and care for your home and kitchen.
This Thanksgiving, take care of yourself in the best ways possible. From us at Bayes, to you,
Happy Thanksgiving!

5 Reasons Switching to More Natural Cleaning Products is Good For Your Health!

5 Reasons Switching to More Natural Cleaning Products is Good For Your Health!Green cleaning is a great idea for some, but is it really necessary?  If you want to enjoy better health and keep your children safe, yes.  And if you care about the world around you, another yes. Don't be overwhelmed with the alternatives.  We at Bayes, offer a range of great organic cleaning supplies and you can even make your own cleaning supplies at home!
Here are 5 reasons that switching to more natural cleaning products is good for your health!
Keep Kids SafeWe can’t protect our kids from all the evil in the world, but we can limit their access to harmful chemicals. Using natural cleaning products will reduce the chance of an accidental poisoning. In fact, household cleaning products actually rank as one of the top 5 causes of childhood poisoning cases. So in addition to switching over to green cleaning products, be sure to keep the products stored in child-safe cabinets! (Organic cleaners are still a danger to children! Let's just be thankful that they aren't a chem lab in a bottle!)
Unbelievable Amounts of Chemicals Every time you use a cleaning product, you are inhaling the fumes from every chemical in the mix! There are literally over 50,000 chemical ingredients floating around out there and that’s a scary amount of chemicals! What’s more scary is upwards of 70 percent of typical cleaning products often found in your home contain these harmful agents. Time to rethink those common brands!
Phthalates, Sodium Hydroxide & Ammonia It's only understandable that as you grew up seeing the products your mom used, that you would follow suit and buy the same products once in your own home. But have you looked at the labels of cleaning products under your sink? If there is a label warning you that a product can be harmful to people or pets, then you have a sign that it's time to get rid of it.  Some potentially harmful chemicals you want to watch out for include phtalates (in fragranced products), triclosan (in liquid dishwashing detergent), 2-Butoxyethanol (in multi-purpose cleaners) and even chlorine (in laundry whiteners and toilet bowl cleaners).
You May Be Poisoning the Water Supply
Since various household cleaning agents can contain toxic chemicals like ammonia, phosphorus, alkyphenol ethoxylates and petroleum, it's important to remember that when you wash your clothes, do the dishes and even flush toilet bowl cleaner you may be sending these chemicals back into the water systems, nearby rivers, lakes and streams. This could not only make its way back into your water, but it can also have a negative impact on wildlife and the environment.
Keep the Air CleanMany household products, especially sprays and aerosols, can contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that can both long and short term negative affects on your central nervous system, liver and kidneys. When you use a spray, the chemicals can linger in the air long after the initial mist dissipates.

Your health and the health of your family is important to take care of. That's why we are committed to making clean products that are organic and safe for you and the environment. Please stop by Bayes and see what we can do for your home!
